The Wise Obey.

Why should I obey the Lord? Nothing happens when I disobey. Really? Don’t be misled, God is not winking at sin and looking the other way. The Lord is just giving sinners time to repent. God is willing to deliver anyone humble enough to ask for help.

Just watch and see how Jesus saved a Muslim woman who was humble enough to repent and ask to be saved.

Just as the woman in the video clip had to follow instructions to be saved, so do we. But salvation doesn’t stop with our initial acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior. We must be fully obedient to God’s Word to experience all God has for us in this life and the one to come.

Every human desire is satisfied when we obey God. And, obedience is easier than we think. How do you answer the call to obey? Do you say “Okay”, “Why?” or “No Way!”? Learn how to embrace the benefits of an obedient lifestyle in this slideshow.

Philippians 2:5-9, New International Version – “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.”
