What Time Is It? Hint: It’s not time to get your nails done!

What Time Is It? Hint: It’s not time to get your nails done! (image: woman getting manicure)

We must do what the one who sent me wants us to do while it is day. The night when no one can do anything is coming. As long as I’m in the world, I’m light for the world.” (John 9:4-5, GOD’S WORD Translation)

It’s time to work! Let’s focus our lives on Jesus Christ and sharing the Gospel. Many people are clueless about their need for salvation. They don’t believe in God, heaven or hell. Think about it: Do we want our family, friends or co-workers to perish because we were too embarrassed to tell them about Jesus Christ?

We are in the last days. It is not time for frivolous pursuits. The distracted will fall away to perdition. If we have been too concerned about the cares of this world, we need to repent. Think about it: Do we want to miss heaven because we cared more about getting our nails done or our careers than getting a soul saved?

The ground covered with thistles represents a man who hears the message, but the cares of this life and his longing for money choke out God’s Word, and he does less and less for God. (Matthew 13: 22, Living Bible)

Pastor Mark: God’s people NEED to know what TIME it is, the year of “Peace & Safety”

This is not the time to be too proud to confess our sin. The proud refuse to repent. God cannot help the proud because they will not submit to His authority. Think about it: If Jesus promises to forgive anyone who confesses their sins, why wouldn’t we want to admit our mistakes and ask for forgiveness?

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9, New King James Version)

Struggling to stay focused? Pray. Jesus wants us to finish. We can ask the Lord for grace and strength to stay committed and share our faith. God promises to help the humble.

God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:6-8, New King James Version)

God’s grace will get us through the turbulent times ahead and bring us faultless before His throne in Heaven. The Holy Spirit will help anyone who wants help.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16, New King James Version)
